Recent visits to teeming ecosystems at higher elevations resulted in meeting some healthy and interesting insects, dancing between flowers and skittering around on freshly enlivened habitats.

The adaptions of these species to thrive in environments that burst to life in short seasons between long frozen winters is amazing!
